The islands of Vava'u are a pristine and empty South Pacific Wilderness.
An opportunity to explore and surf these islands with a few of your friends has finally arrived. We are offering boutique tours for up to 6 surfers, they will be accommodated in western standard waterfront houses and taken out daily on a state of the art 7mt. power catamaran. All surf is within half an hour from home where many good restaurants can be accessed by your personal small runabout.

The Vava'u group contains 50 thickly wooded islands among a myriad of jumbled channels and waterways. Vava'u lies approximately 500 miles east of Fiji and 2000 miles north of New Zealand and contains one of the finest harbors in the south pacific the port of refuge. These tranquil islands have been compared with the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands and the Rock Islands of Palu. Because of the idyllic setting hundreds of cruising yachts visit each year. As with every beautiful spot there is a number of game fishing outfits here as well as dive operators and most recently whale watching has brought in tourists from around the world.

Surfers have been coming here for years too, often finding it a hard place to access the waves; the only consistent surf via car is Keitahi point a big boned long rolling right. To surf here successfully you need a good boat, able to reach the southern islands with speed and safety. The 7mt. Markham Dominater is the ideal boat for these islands It is fast, smooth riding and big enough to take up to 6 surfers anywhere in the group in less than half an hour. There are many fine reef and point breaks in this group, with one spot being as good as you will find anywhere in the world.
We have built a number of well appointed waterfront houses, each with its own small boat and private Wharf. The larger boat will pick you up each day from in front of your house for surfing, snorkeling or just exploring these pristine islands.
